Molybdenum mesh is a square-holed metal mesh woven from molybdenum wire. It is also known as molybdenum wire mesh or woven molybdenum mesh. The material is available in two types: bright molybdenum mesh (with the graphite emulsion coating removed from the surface) and black molybdenum mesh (with the graphite coating retained). It conforms to standards such as GB/T 5330-2003 and GB/T 4182-2017, and the weaving methods include plain weave, twill weave, and Dutch weave [1] [5], resulting in a square-shaped filtration unit.
Molybdenum wire boasts a purity of up to 99.95%, with specifications covering wire diameters from 0.035 to 2.0 mm, mesh sizes from 0.02 to 23.4 mm, and weaving widths from 50 to 2000 mm. The product has a melting point of 2610℃ and features high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and wear resistance [3-4]. It is suitable for vacuum high-temperature furnace sintering, processing of strong magnetic materials, petrochemical equipment, and aerospace applications. Molybdenum-lanthanum alloy material enhances surface strength and ensures flatness. Standard specifications are available in stock, and custom laser cutting is also supported.
