Hastelloy wire mesh is a corrosion-resistant alloy material based on nickel, with its main components being nickel, molybdenum, and chromium alloys, containing tungsten and having extremely low carbon and silicon content. It is classified into two types based on its composition: nickel-molybdenum alloy and nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy. Common grades include B-2, B-3, C-22, and C-276. This material exhibits high-temperature resistance, resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, and resistance to acids, alkalis, and salt corrosion. It demonstrates excellent corrosion resistance in environments containing wet chlorine gas, hypochlorites, hydrochloric acid solutions, and oxidizing chlorides.
The product uses plain or twill weaving techniques and is available in mesh sizes from 2 to 100 mesh, conforming to the GB5330-2003 standard. It is primarily used in chemical industry applications such as acetic acid plant filters and gas-liquid filtration screens, as well as in petrochemicals, flue gas desulfurization, environmental protection equipment, pharmaceutical industry chlorination units, and incineration scrubbers.
